About the Client
With extensive experience in supply logistics, international trade export and import logistics, and affiliated agents in all states of Australia and world-wide, our client are a fully accredited customs broker and transportation professionals who provide a tailored customs and freight forwarding service.
What You Will Be Doing
They are currently seeking a skilled Inventory Controller to be based out of their Eagle Farm warehouse. This is a long-term position with an ASAP start, working from 6:30am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will;
* Receive, check in and put away all stock
* Pick/pack requests going to airside sites
* Manage the SOH report and do weekly cycle counts
* Update stock sheets and other key reports
* Have the ability to operate a laptop/computer on-site, including knowledge in Office 365/ advance excel.
* Ensure warehouse products are organized efficiently and orders are packed within agreed timeframes
* Have good eye for detail when receiving products as per purchase orders and check PO's into relevant platforms
* Identify and escalate any missing or faulty products to all relevant stakeholders
* Will comply with safe work practices, procedures and policies
* Work collaboratively within the team, other contractors and customer departments
What You Will Need
* Drivers licence and reliable transport
* Extensive inventory experience within a warehouse environment
* Experience using warehouse inventory software
* Strong customer service skills
* Strong office 365 skills
* Willing to be hands-on with receiving, checking in and putting away stock
