About the Role
The primary goal of this position is to develop and implement effective human resources frameworks, policies, procedures, and programs that attract, retain, develop, and manage a highly engaged and committed workforce.
This role will work closely with General Managers to identify, develop, and implement solutions across various human resources functions, including workforce planning, performance management, industrial/employee relations, development, and training.
Reporting to the GM - HSQE & People, this role will also develop and implement key change management strategies and services to improve staff and business performance while emphasizing developing a positive organizational culture.
Skill Requirements:
* Extensive generalist HR experience at the management level or as a business partner;
* Sound knowledge of the National Employment Standards and relevant legislation and regulations;
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
* Able to build relationships and influence a range of stakeholders;
* Strong experience in interpreting modern awards and providing pragmatic solutions;
* Strong negotiation and mediation skills.
