Order Processor & Administrative Assistant
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment and excels at customer service.
Responsibilities
* Customer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact, answering phone inquiries and assisting customers with their daily requirements.
* Order Management: Receive and accurately process high-volume orders via phone and email.
* Documentation: Create picking slips, invoices, and coordinate dispatch paperwork to a strict schedule.
* Operational Support: Assist with purchasing and food & quality safety systems as required.
* Pricing & Data Maintenance: Assist with uploading customer pricing updates and maintaining accurate system records.
* Administrative & Ad‐Hoc Accounts: Assist management with daily administrative tasks and perform debtor management (receipting and follow‐ups) on an as‐required basis.
Schedule
Standard schedule: 7:00 AM starts Monday to Friday.
Holiday coverage: Cover leave for approximately 4 weeks per year with 5:00 AM starts.
This is a full‐time position requiring a punctual and dependable individual.
Selection Criteria
* Interpersonal Skills: Professional phone manner and ability to build rapport with customers on a daily basis.
* Experience: Previous background in an administrative or order‐processing role.
* Precision: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to process data accurately under time pressure.
* Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Adaptability: A can‐do attitude and ability to work well within a close‐knit team.
* FRESH (Lettus) software: Experience is highly desirable, but training will be provided if not currently available.
