Role description
We are seeking a proficient Conveyancing Paralegal or Senior Conveyancer to manage conveyancing files from start to settlement. This position allows for autonomous work while being part of a collaborative team focused on delivering superior client service.
Key responsibilities
* Perusal and analysis of contracts.
* Direct communications with clients to ensure a seamless service.
* Preparation and dispatch of initial and final client correspondence.
* Conducting online property searches and diligent follow-up on outstanding conditions.
* Generating settlement statements and managing PEXA settlements.
* Comprehensive file management including documentation and general administrative duties.
Candidate profile
* A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Conveyancer within Queensland, demonstrating a thorough understanding of local property law is preferred.
* Proven ability to manage multiple files efficiently under tight deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive relations with clients and colleagues.
* High proficiency in digital conveyancing platforms and general IT systems.
Qualifications
* No legal qualifications required. Commissioner for Declarations or JP (Qual) favourable.
* Experience with LEAP legal software and PEXA is desired.
* Proficiency in utilising office software, particularly MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
* Strong organisational and time management competencies.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* Outstanding verbal and written communication proficiencies.
* Ability to prioritise tasks, working both independently and within a team.
