Onboarding Specialist
The team plays a vital role in delivering a smooth and compliant onboarding experience for new customers. They focus on verifying new accounts, assessing potential risks, and ensuring all onboarding activities meet AML/CTF regulations and internal compliance standards. Through their diligence and attention to detail, the team helps protect the business while enabling customers to start their journey with confidence.
Responsibilities
* Conduct customer verification (KYC/KYB) checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Assess new accounts for potential risks, identifying and escalating any concerns.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including compliance, risk, and operations to streamline the onboarding process.
* Ensure adherence to AML/CTF regulations, fraud prevention measures, and internal policies.
* Communicate with customers to gather necessary documentation and provide guidance on the onboarding process.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with compliance requirements.
* Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce onboarding friction.
About You
* Strong attention to detail and ability to assess risk factors.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with customers and internal teams effectively.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‐moving environment.
* Experience in customer verification, compliance, or risk assessment (preferred but not essential).
* Knowledge of AML/CTF regulations and KYC/KYB processes (a plus).
* Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, or a related field (preferred but necessary).
