Federal Government Agency - Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra Hybrid - initial 12 month contract with up to 3 extensions Australia Ciitzen This Federal Government Agency is looking for a Senior .Net Software Developer to join its growing development team in development, providing technical leadership and supporting existing applications and interfaces.
Key duties and responsibilities Development and support of our existing applications and interfaces.
Contribute on actions in project teams, implementing new and upgraded solutions for the business, and have general involvement in new projects.
Ensure accurate technical documentation and source code is maintained on all key systems and processes.
Assist in the analysis and design of applications and databases.
Research new technologies/approaches to drive CI/CD initiatives.
Assist in the preparation of new software releases which may include preparing deployment guides, application packaging and assist infrastructure team during deployment.
Essential criteria A minimum of 5 years commercial experience developing applications based on the Microsoft stack (.NET Framework, .NET Core, Web API, ASP.NET, C#) Experience with developing with Javascript, HTML, MVC Working experience with SQL Server / SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) Working experience with MS Visual Studio, TFS and Git Knowledge in the following systems will be highly regarded: Microsoft Dynamics CRM & SharePoint.
Azure and Power Platform Experience using Jira or similar ticketing system.
Demonstrated experience designing, developing, documenting and supporting enterprise applications Thorough understanding of the SDLC Knowledge and skills in Microsoft stack, application development frameworks and technology suites, web development and scripting languages Configuration and support of 3rd party applications Highly developed problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical, and strategic thinking skills Basic understanding of common infrastructure designs, problems and issues.
Possess good verbal and written communication skills and have an open and proactive communication style, good listening skills.
