The Rural Clinical School of Western Australia (RCSWA) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced medical educator to deliver world-class innovative medical education and training at the Bunbury site.

About the Role
Part-time, up to (0.3 FTE) appointments on a fixed term basis for one year. Base salary range: Level C, $144,143 – $165,809 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation. Clinical loading and remote allowances applicable.
Responsibilities
Organise and teach RCSWA students, support preceptors and host practitioners, and implement learning opportunities through collaboration with local agencies.
Engage in research or evaluation to improve rural health, and pursue growth in academic areas such as clinical skills or services based on personal interests.
Develop local educational programs and rural training pathways in consultation with medical practitioners, contributing to both local and statewide RCSWA strategies.
Contribute to curriculum development, assessment marking and provide student mentoring.
Requirements
Registered, or able to be registered with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner.
Work in the respective RCSWA site and the ability to network with rural practitioners in the region.
Demonstrated experience as a preceptor and/or supervisor of medical students and/or junior doctors or registrars.
Demonstrated commitment to the principles and practice of Indigenous health in rural and regional areas.
Practice medicine in rural WA.
