As a valued member of our collaborative project team, you will be at the forefront of testing and ensuring the quality and compliance of our new systems - critical to supporting UQ's staff. Working closely with experienced business analysts and program leaders, you will help shape and deliver a system that will make a lasting impact on how we work at UQ.

Key responsibilities will include:
Develop comprehensive test cases, scripts, and data to validate system functionality across various testing phases including System Integration Testing, Parallel Payroll Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
Work closely with the Program Test Manager, Senior Functional Business Analyst, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into testable scenarios and ensure accurate outcomes.
Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution using Jira and Zephyr Scale, maintaining clear documentation and status updates throughout the testing lifecycle.
Guide and assist end users during the UAT process, ensuring a smooth and effective testing experience that meets business and compliance needs.

About You
Degree qualifications in Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience in HRIS and/or payroll administration.
Proven experience working with enterprise-level HRIS and payroll systems, with a strong understanding of workforce management and transactional processes.
Demonstrated ability to analyse complex data, apply structured problem-solving approaches, and deliver accurate and reliable test outcomes.
High attention to detail with a commitment to precision in test execution and documentation.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and engage confidently with stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using test management tools such as Jira and Zephyr Scale.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia and a criminal check.
