About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial services, supporting statutory reporting, management accounting, and financial analysis. You will also manage accounts receivable, daily banking, and monthly reconciliations in compliance with organisational policies and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly management accounting and end-of-year financial statements.
- Complete end-of-month close-off procedures and reconciliations.
- Manage Accounts Receivable processes, invoicing, and payment plans.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and oversee weekly banking activities.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and support ERP systems.
- Provide backup support for payroll and accounts payable during staff leave.
About You
- CPA or CA qualified (or working towards).
- Degree in Business, Commerce, or Finance with an Accounting major.
- Proven experience in financial reporting and general ledger management.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Sage300) and advanced Excel.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
Additional Requirements
- Police clearance is mandatory.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required.
