About Us
At Pure Coaching, we do things differently.
We’re not a standard support service. We’re active, hands-on, and highly motivated to help participants connect with their goals in employment, social connections, sport and recreational activities, and life goals such as transitioning to independence.
We call ourselves coaches because we work alongside participants as equals, helping them build independence and confidence through action.
About the Role
You’ll support NDIS participants (mostly teens and young adults) in achieving personal, educational, employment, physical, and social goals through community-based activities. The role is dynamic, active, and requires genuine commitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand each participant’s NDIS goals and actively support them to work towards achieving these goals
- Build trust, rapport, and supportive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries
- Support clients to access their community (appointments, social groups, fitness activities, employment pathways, and education)
- Encourage and build participants’ fitness, health, and wellbeing goals through sport, exercise, and active living
- Assist with developing life skills to independence such as shopping, cooking, money management, and household tasks
- Facilitate and participate in activities such as camps, fishing days, beach outings, and group event
- Encourage independence, confidence, and social connection through positive coaching and role modelling
- Keep clear, accurate progress notes in ShiftCare and communicate effectively with the team
- Safely transport clients to and from activities, ensuring their wellbeing at all times
About You
- Energetic and approachable
- Physically active and comfortable with outdoor and sport-based programs
- Confident supporting neurodivergent clients (autism, ADHD, etc.)
- Able to support participants to reach their goals in employment, education, and building community connections
- Robust understanding of social services and the ability to link participants to appropriate supports
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Flexible — schedules change, and you can adapt without drama
- Reliable car suitable for transporting clients. Vehicle must be registered, comprehensively insured, and maintained to professional standards (no vans/campervans).
Visa & Work Rights
- Open to Australian or New Zealand work rights
- Working holiday or similar visas accepted if minimum 8 months remain
- No immediate sponsorship available; sponsorship may be considered after long-term performance
Essential Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- Blue Card (Working With Children Check)
- Full driver licence + reliable vehicle as above
Our Recruitment Process
We don’t do traditional one-on-one interviews.
All shortlisted applicants are invited to a group interview session with team-based activities, problem-solving tasks, and role-play scenarios. This lets us see how you connect with others and fit our culture. If you only want a “normal interview,” this role isn’t for you.
What We Offer
- A team culture built on energy, trust, value and growth
- Mentorship and ongoing development
- Employment Assistance Program for staff and their family members
- Flexibility and value
- Opportunities for leadership and long-term roles as the business expands
