AIr Navigator is a leading maintenance and repair organisation (MRO), specialising in fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Our heavy maintenance facility is based in Cairns, North Queensland where an exciting opportunity now exists for a highly motivated and organised individual to become an integral part of our team as the Quality and Compliance Manager (QCM).Reporting to the Accountable Manager, the QCM Head is responsible for management and implementation of the Quality Management Systems.The successful candidate should have knowledge & experience in the following:Extensive knowledge of CASA, FAA, EASA, and foreign NAA regulatory requirements desirable.Understanding of ISO 9001-2015 requirements and regulatory frameworks.Show a proven ability to influence and motivate others to ensure compliance and maintain evidence records.Experience in negotiating with aviation regulatory authorities and in preparing applications for authorisations and approvals.Broad operational knowledge and experience in the functions of an MRO or Aviation Maintenance Facility.Ability to role model safe behaviours and lead cultural change across the organization.What will help you succeed:Professionally trained in Quality Management with Lead Auditor Training desirable.At least 5 years’ experience in quality and safety management.Good written and verbal communication skills.Experience as an AME, Licenced Engineer or Aviation Degree Qualified.Extensive knowledge of Safety Management System application and reporting.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to engage and influence change.Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously.Experience in the use of the MS Office suite of products.Previous supervisory experience advantageous.Only successful candidates will be contacted.Please submit your application by 15th April, 2025.
