The Waterline at Keppel Bay Marina is currently taking applications for an experienced Kitchen Hand.
Your role is a support role to our chefs and to maintain a safe and hygienic workplace in accordance with Australian Food safety standards.
We are a very busy kitchen and value applicants who are experienced, punctual,reliable and efficient.
Main duties of this role will include the following -
Receiving and storage of stock
Operating a commercial dishwasher
Preparation of menu ingredients
Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen and food equipment
Appropriate use of food safety equipment such as gloves
Completion of log books such as temperature records
Essential Criteria -
Be able to work a roster that includes days, nights and weekends
Ability to work in a repetitive and physically demanding role
Experience in a fast paced environment
Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
A positive attitude
A current food handler certificate
An understanding of OHS, food safety
Demonstrated time management skills
Attention to detail
