About the opportunity
There is currently one (1) full time permanent position available for immediate filling.
In this role you will work closely with the Executive Director and provide high level executive administrative, secretarial and ministerial support. This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor to work with a new Executive Director.
We are seeking proactive applicants wanting to provide high-level executive administrative assistance to an Executive Director and their senior leadership team. Someone with a 'can do' attitude who has high level technical, organisational and coordination skills. We are looking for individuals who:
* Demonstrate experience in providing administrative and secretarial support at a senior executive level.
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships.
* Ability to develop practical and innovative solutions to problems.
* Good research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Well-developed organisational and prioritising skills, with the ability to set and meet work priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment and contribute to the achievement of team goals.

Employment Conditions and Additional Information
DPIRD is an Emergency Management Agency and all employees may be required to work or travel during, or outside of, normal business hours to assist with incidents and emergencies.
