About the Role
The temporary full‐time Administration Officer supports the effective delivery of school operations across key functional areas, including human resources, financial processing, workforce coordination and facilities management.
The role may involve working across a broad range of operational support areas or focusing on specific functions, depending on the school's needs. It also improves systems and processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Temporary vacancy open to expressions of interest; no extension beyond 12 months.
This position is temporary full‐time until 4 October 2026, unless otherwise determined.
Responsibilities
* Support recruitment, onboarding, training and coordination of school support staff.
* Assist with workforce planning, staff records, compliance training and leave management processes.
* Apply departmental policies and ensure compliance with administrative, HR and legislative requirements.
* Monitor workloads, identify training needs and support staff supervision processes.
* Manage Blue Card administration, timesheets and staffing arrangements including relief and contract staff.
* Provide financial and administrative support, including data entry, budgeting assistance, purchasing and record keeping.
* Assist with asset, facilities and maintenance coordination, including inspections and compliance checks.
* Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency across school operations.
