As a Program Manager within Supply Chain, you will own Shipment Consolidation for the Amazon Australia network. You will have a holistic view of how customer orders flow through our fulfilment and delivery network — from the moment an order is placed to the moment it arrives at a customer's door — and be an integral part of creating and implementing initiatives that group more deliveries together, reduce the number of boxes customers receive, and lower the cost of getting orders to them. There will rarely be a perfect solution, so it will be up to you to make data‐driven decisions and manage stakeholder relationships while planning and executing within an ever‐changing environment.
Interfacing with Fulfilment Centre Operations, Transportation, Business, and Technology teams, the role demands strong analytical capabilities — analysing supply chain data and metrics to configure our network to deliver the best customer experience at the lowest cost to serve. You will look into our fulfilment systems and consolidation logic, identify where opportunities are being missed, and drive improvements that directly impact millions of Australian customers.
Key responsibilities
* Own the configuration and performance of shipment consolidation systems and mechanisms across Australia's national fulfilment and delivery network, ensuring more customer orders are grouped into fewer deliveries.
* Monitor consolidation performance on a weekly cadence against goals, identifying deviations early, diagnosing root causes, and driving targeted interventions in partnership with field operations, business intelligence, technology, and business teams to resolve defects and close performance gaps.
* Produce weekly consolidation forecasts, translating near‐term volume signals and operational inputs into actionable outlooks that keep the network ahead of emerging risks and opportunities.
* Partner with Supply Chain Planning teams to manage the short‐to‐medium term consolidation horizon, balancing daily execution priorities with forward‐looking optimisation to sustainably improve delivery density and cost efficiency.
* Lead medium‐term structural improvement projects that change how consolidation operates across the network, from scoping and business case development through to implementation and performance tracking.
* Partner with global product and engineering teams on consolidation feature improvements and logic enhancements, and with local operations teams on process improvements that drive execution.
* Lead consolidation configuration upgrade projects end‐to‐end, from scoping and business case through to go‐live and performance tracking.
* Manage and optimise consolidation levers to reduce Amazon's overall cost to serve while maintaining the delivery speed and reliability customers expect.
