Support Australia's defence mission as a Field Services Representative at Raytheon Australia. You will work closely with Australian Defence Force partners to provide technical support and expertise to the Joint Interface Control (JIC) System users.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support to ADF operators and maintainers through on‐site visits, field support, and helpdesk services.
* Perform maintenance duties on the JIC System, including troubleshooting technical issues and executing system upgrades.
* Ensure compliance with Defence and company policies related to Global Trade, EHS&W and Finance.
* Coordinate with customers to arrange required travel.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
* A recognised qualification in Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
* Minimum 6 years' experience in complex IT system maintenance and administration.
* Previous experience as a Level 2 or Level 3 Network Engineer administering a bespoke network.
* Understanding and application of technical theories and concepts relating to IT systems, networks, user administration and software management.
* Desirable knowledge of radio frequencies, networking, modems, and communications technologies.
* System Administration qualifications, including:
o CCNA/P (Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional) certification in routing and switching, Service Provider or higher, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
o Windows/Domain: MSCA or equivalent.
o VMware: VCP or equivalent.
o SIEM.
* Desirable experience in a Defence training environment.
* Applicants must be willing to undertake interstate travel for extended periods of up to two to three weeks at a time.
* Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain an NV2 Security clearance as needed.
