Overview
Launch Recruitment are supporting an Australian leading enterprise organisation on the lookout for a Senior Technology Specialist to join on a permanent basis.
This role will be responsible for the design, operations and evolution of core DNS services, ensuring resilience, best practice configuration and alignment with wider Internet and IP network architecture. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with design governance, documentation and mentoring responsibilities.
Qualifications
* Strong experience designing, configuring and operating large DNS platforms (BIND and/or F5)
* Solid understanding of Internet and core IP network design
* Background in telco or large service provider environments
* Proven ability to produce high-quality design, testing and implementation documentation
* Experience acting as a subject matter expert and technical escalation point
Responsibilities
You will work closely with internal teams and external network providers, contribute to planning and budgeting, support testing and production deployments, and mentor junior engineers.
This is a senior, hands-on technical role offering the opportunity to shape critical DNS services and operate as a trusted expert within a complex Internet network.
