We’re on the hunt for a passionate, high-energy barista to join our Solid ground roasters retail site — where quality is everything and creativity is encouraged.
What you’ll be doing:
* Running day-to-day café operations with confidence and efficiency
* Working with high-end, brand new barista equipment designed to make your workflow smooth and enjoyable
* The chance to work with a new coffee roaster on site, learn to roast coffee from green beans and serve to customers.
* Dialling in espresso and consistently delivering exceptional coffee (latte art is essential)
* Crafting and serving our signature cold brew creations using modern techniques and equipment
* Engaging with customers by sharing knowledge about coffee origins, processing methods, and flavour profiles
* Creating an unforgettable café vibe — warm, welcoming and high energy
What we’re looking for:
* Genuine passion for specialty coffee culture
* Strong barista experience (you know your way around a grinder + machine)
* Love for creativity — especially with menu ideas and presentation
* A team player with great energy and attention to detail
* Someone who cares about the why behind coffee, not just the how
* Bring good vibes, every shift
Bonus points if you:
* Have an interest in social media/content creation (capturing the vibe, reels, coffee shots, etc.)
