Our organisation is dedicated to providing exceptional support for veterans in need. As a Home Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence and comfort in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clean bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living areas with attention to detail
* Manage laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing
* Change bed linen and make beds
* Assist with light kitchen duties, such as dishes, wiping surfaces, and emptying bins
* Conduct basic unaccompanied grocery shopping (if required)
* Communicate respectfully and professionally with clients
* Report any changes in clients' home environments or wellbeing
Requirements:
* A genuine passion for helping others and pride in delivering high-quality services
* Reliability, strong attention to detail, and a solid work ethic
* A desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our veteran clients
* Previous experience in domestic work or aged care (preferred but not essential)
* A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* A current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
* Must have work rights in Australia
* Must be willing to travel around the Devonport area
