About The Contracts Administrator Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail focused Contract Administrator to join our Darwin team working across Defence and State Government projects across the Northern Territory.
In this role you will play a key part in managing all aspects of contract administration from preparation and negotiation through to execution and compliance ensuring every project runs smoothly and efficiently. You will collaborate closely with project managers, site teams and stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
* Prepare, review and administer contracts through all stages of the project lifecycle
* Collaborate with project managers, legal teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance
* Monitor and track key contract milestones, obligations and deliverables
* Maintain accurate documentation and manage variations and progress claims
* Support the resolution of contract related queries and issues
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline
* Minimum 5 years' experience in contract administration within building construction
* Proven experience on Defence and State Government projects highly regarded
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Excellent communication, stakeholder and problem solving skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management software
* Ability to travel to Katherine on an ad hoc basis
