About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Dietitian – Mental Health Drug & Alcohol!
Working as an integral part of a multidisciplinary health care team, this role will provide clinical leadership and high-quality services to patients/clients of the Western NSW Local Health District to meet health and wellbeing needs.
This role is responsible for the provision of a clinical nutrition service consistent with evidence-based practice to:
· Community adult mental health clients
· Children & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) community clients and their families/carers
· Mental Health Inpatient Services at Dubbo Health Service (Gundaymarra and Barraminya)
Extensive specialist knowledge will be required to provide professional leadership for the Dietetic Service and direct clinical nutrition services to mental health client groups, their family members and carer's within a multidisciplinary perspective.
