Senior Academic Position in Rheumatology
The University of Sydney is seeking a distinguished academic rheumatologist to join our faculty as a senior researcher and educator.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and maintaining a clinical, translational or basic science research program relevant to Rheumatology. They will also lead the development, implementation and promotion of clinical/education programs for MD students relating to Rheumatology.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A PhD in a field relevant to Rheumatology
Registration as a medical practitioner in NSW with recognition by AHPRA as a Specialist Rheumatologist and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians, or equivalent
An emerging national/international reputation and research track record, including publications in peer-reviewed international journals and success in obtaining research funding and supervision of research students
Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating teaching and learning initiatives within Rheumatology
