Following a successful market launch, they are entering their next growth phase aimed at establishing a category-defining company – and they’re looking for driven, customer-focused individuals to help build a strong distribution channel. This is more than a traditional Broker RM role – it’s a chance to help shape the future of a business redefining the mortgage experience. You'll work closely with the Founders, Credit, and Lending team to build distribution channels with brokers and aggregators.
The Relationship Manager will be instrumental in fostering and strengthening relationships with mortgage brokers, aggregators and strategic partners to promote Midkey’s innovative lending product. Typical duties include:
* Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with mortgage brokers, aggregators and stakeholders to drive business growth and ensure high client satisfaction.
* Product Advocacy: Developing a deep understanding of Midkey’s innovative products and educating its unique features and benefits
* Loan Application Support: Discussing loan scenarios and structures with mortgage brokers and educate/train the market about our new lending product.
* Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and partnerships with mortgage brokers and financial institutions across Queensland.
* Compliance and Risk Management: Coordinating and facilitating aggregator and direct broker accreditation and training process
* Team Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including credit officers, marketing, and lending specialists, to grow the distribution channel
This role demands a proactive self-starter with outstanding interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of the mortgage industry, and a passion for delivering customised financial solutions. In addition you will have:
* Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in lending management, relationship management, Business development or similar role within the residential lending / mortgages industry.
* An in-depth understanding of mortgage products, credit assessment, and risk management practices.
* Proven business development and negotiation skills to drive sales and partnerships.
* Persistence and determination to engage brokers and drive activation.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients and stakeholders.
* Proficiency in CRM software and loan origination systems.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
