Job Description
As a Heritage Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and delivering Aboriginal heritage projects throughout NSW. This involves overseeing project teams, planning and delivery of fieldwork, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring that project goals are met.
You will engage with clients to understand their project requirements, provide expert advice on heritage and archaeological matters, and develop tailored solutions that meet client needs while adhering to regulatory requirements and best practices.
Effective stakeholder engagement with both internal and external stakeholders relevant to the role is also essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A degree in Cultural Heritage Management, Archaeology, Anthropology or related field.
* A minimum of 10+ years of experience for the principal role and 5+ years for the Senior role.
* Preferably experience in a consultancy environment.
* Knowledge of relevant State and Commonwealth heritage legislation and associated regulations and guidelines, with experience in NSW highly regarded.
* Demonstrate leadership experience, including project management and team coordination.
* Interest and experience with client relationship management.
