We are looking for our next Trade Engagement Executive to support our Commercial Development team in Melbourne.
**Primary Responsibilities -**
- Visit customers and stores as per prescribed call schedules
- Monitor and coach the team to maintain store shelves with company product, tidying store shelves, removing out-of-date product, and providing optimum display of company products
- Place re-orders with individual retailers as required to optimize our stock levels;
- Recommend new line opportunities;
- Solicit additional stock orders where opportunities exist;
- Generate regular competitor report and market information report to line manager
- Coach the team on setting up regular small or large-scale display of promotional product and generate post-campaign report on evaluation of effectiveness and efficiency of the campaign to line Manager
- Fill fixtures as required with reserve stocks from stockroom and capping;
- Check and report missing descriptive and flag tickets to store POS;
- Check store range compliance against applicable layout profiles;
- Coordinate with line manager re all trade-related POSMs and report
- Manage the pool of demo promoters and ensure adequate demo promoters in the pool to perform demos as required
- Coordinate the restaurant list as required by line manager and generate report on information provided by the restaurants
- Organize samples to shops and restaurants as requested, and coach the team to distribute
- Organize sales driven activities/campaigns as required during weekdays and weekends and coach the team to execute
**Acquiring New Business
- **
- Align with line managers to discuss opportunities and procedures to approach customers
- Approach existing customers and potential customers for new business models as set by line managers
- Manage to achieve the sales target set by line managers in a timely manner
**Promotional Activity -**
- Check weekly promotional program tie-up against master file in all channels
- Build and ticket displays as required
- Use product knowledge to seek in-store promotional opportunities within available retail space
- Specifically target clip strips, bin displays, gondola ends, off location display areas for best utilisation and coach the team on setting up the displays
**Reporting -**
- Complete store compliance check as required;
- Complete store request form to identify missing promotional and descriptive tickets, out of stocks.
- Complete Field Team Monthly Report and send to line manager by 1st week of each month;
- Complete Competition Check report and Restaurant Report as needed
- Report known customer product complaints
- Report competitive new lines or market activities being launched
- Coach the team to conduct campaign compliance audit as required by line manager
**Miscellaneous -**
- Attend trade shows, seminars, training and meetings as required by the Line Manager;
- Set up and provide labour as required;
**Who are we looking for**:
- Excellent verbal communication skill in English and preferably in Chinese
- Good understanding of features of company products
- Can-do attitude and results orientated
- Ability to multi-task and ability to prioritise
- Ability to regularly monitor the execution of the team and report back to line managers in a timely manner
