Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and strategic direction of the institution, supporting and enabling the university's mission and navigating complex financial challenges.
This includes leading and directing financial risk and governance, strategic financial planning, financial operations, procurement and providing investment and capital allocation advice.
We are looking for an experienced CFO with strong, inclusive leadership skills and extensive experience in a large and multifaceted organisation.
The successful candidate will be a highly collaborative and mission-led leader who will work in partnership with portfolios across the university to drive innovation, transformation and improved performance.
Experience working within regulated environments should be complemented by outstanding financial acumen and a demonstrated track record in leading positive financial transformation.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in the smooth functioning of financial operations and - through alignment of resources, processes and staff - help steer ACU towards sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
