The Role
Support the Senior Development Manager, and lead specific components of, the Bradfield City Superlot 1. Specifically, supporting the project team to:
* Design, submit and obtain planning approval of the precinct masterplan
* Develop the design, obtain approvals and tender the construction of various stages within the masterplan, including tertiary education / office facilities, affordable housing and precinct masterplan works
* Maintain key project documents and the financial model and cost schedules, consultant and design deliverable tracking and QA policies
* Prepare reports for key stakeholders
In this role, you will support the Senior Development Manager across the following key responsibilities:
* Management of developer obligations to obtain the masterplan development approval
* Management of the developer's obligations, where required, for the specific projects within the masterplan (including retail, food and beverage, office / education and/or housing
* Coordination of site inspections on behalf of Plenary and our project partners
* Administration of the key contractual agreements in conjunction with the wider team
* Assistance and support of other projects within the wider Plenary development team, where required
* Promotion and marketing of Plenary as a major participant in the Australian property development market
* Creation of strong networks and close working relationships within the property industry
* Tertiary qualification in Property, Economics, Engineering, Law, Construction Management
* 5+ years of property development or real estate investment experience
* Business development and client relationship management
* Presentation and communication skills
* Managing external teams (including planning, design, construction, agents, legal and tax)
* Contractual, legal, commercial and legislative compliance and including key regulatory planning frameworks and key risks
* Broad industry contact base
* Previous development delivery experience in commercial, education, residential (all forms), retail or industrial.
