To ensure we deliver on our promise, we're looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator to champion food safety, quality, and compliance across our Melbourne site.

Reporting to the Quality Assurance (QA) Manager, you'll lead all things food safety and quality at our Melbourne site. This hands‑on role involves maintaining and improving our Quality Management System (QMS), managing internal and external audits, collaborating with operations to uphold HACCP standards, customer requirements, and championing a strong food safety culture and compliance in the Warehouse.

You will also be proud of your high attention to detail and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) as you will be exposed to stakeholders of all levels within our business – so being both friendly and confident is a must

About your new role

You will ensure our Melbourne site is compliant with our QMS and all food safety, regulatory bodies, and customer standards. You'll monitor food safety and quality practices on the floor, lead bi-annual and annual internal and external audits, and drive corrective and preventative actions to maintain certification and uphold our commitment to quality.

A typical week could look like, but not be limited to:

* Prepare the site or liaise with warehouse for the monthly GMP audit
* Monitor quality, storage temperatures, and documentation
* Validate CCPs process checks and maintain QA records with accuracy and detail.
* Contribute to system and compliance initiatives
* Ensure the site conforms to food safety regulations and QMS requirements
* Ensure appropriate corrective action for identified non-conformance is completed in full and on time
* Ensure all staff are trained on HACCP and GMP and any other process or procedures
* Review and approve labels and specifications as per food regulatory bodies FSANZ/NMI
* Communicate effectively with the Warehouse and Operations teams to address food safety and quality issues
* Manage and investigate customer complaints
* Liaise with local and overseas suppliers for all food safety and quality related queries
* Support New Product Development process in the business

Let's talk about you

We're looking for a Quality Assurance professional with exceptional collaboration and influencing skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail. This is a hands‑on role where you'll play a key part in maintaining compliance and driving a strong quality culture across our operations.

What you need to succeed

Proven experience in a QA role, with strong knowledge of QMS systems, HACCP, GMP, and audit processes.

Formal qualifications in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related discipline.
