About You
As an English Teacher for 12 months, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
To excel in this role, you will be able to:
* demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach English in Years 7 to 12
* create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
* utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
* employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
* integrate a broad range of innovative technologies into daily teaching practice reflecting contemporary learning experiences
* demonstrate excellent classroom management skills designed to optimise student participation and success in dynamic learning environments
* support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students.
You will have attained:
* a tertiary qualification in Education
* eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
* Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
