We offer support through over 145 communities, online and phone counselling, vocational services, and schools.
We’re launching the headspace Early Psychosis (hEP) Service in Lutruwita Tasmania, and we want you to be part of it. This program provides young people with early detection and life-changing intervention for psychosis when it matters most.
Position Details
Part time or full-time flexible position available
Based at the Cambridge Rd Bellerive office, Lutruwita Tasmania
Competitive above-award hourly rate + superannuation + salary packaging benefits up to $18,550
Responsibilities
Lead clinical care for young individuals from intake to treatment completion.
Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatment in collaboration with clients and families.
Develop and implement discharge plans ensuring continued care.
Supervise Psychiatry Registrars and provide clinical leadership to the team.
Engage in research, service evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives.
Contribute to training and policy formation to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications About you
A passion for Early Psychosis Intervention and the ability to create long-term impact.
Previous experience in youth mental health.
Advanced clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, risk management, and treatment provision.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in multidisciplinary collaboration.
A track record of working with diverse and vulnerable populations, including those with physical health, sexual health, mental health, and AOD presentations.
Mandatory qualifications, competencies and/or licences
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and Recent Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP).
A medical degree and full current registration as a medical practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Accredited RANZCP supervisor for registrars in training.
Current Driver’s Licence and ability to travel between EACH locations when required.
