About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join a growing organisation in Western Sydney.
The Responsibilities
* Assist with month-end close processes, including journals, accruals, and multi-entity reporting across ERP systems
* Prepare and review general ledger reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet, and support P&L variance analysis
* Contribute to timely and accurate financial and board reporting, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements
* Support tax compliance, including preparation and lodgement of obligations in line with ATO requirements
* Assist with statutory reporting in accordance with AASB standards and support audit processes
* Maintain the fixed asset register, including depreciation, acquisitions, disposals, and stocktakes
* Gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and broader financial analysis
The successful applicant will have
* 3+ years of experience in an Accountant Role
* Qualified CPA or working towards is desirable
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Advanced systems capability.
* Strong willingness to learn
* The ability to manage competing priorities and improve processes proactively.
