Electric Super is a profit-to-members industry super fund supporting SA workers involved in the supply of electricity. They provide super services to 3 contributing employers and over 3000 members.
This vital position, reporting to the CEO, has broad responsibilities including:
* Monitoring and ensuring Electric Super's compliance with applicable legislation, rules and policies
* Staying up to date on legislation that relates to super
* Undertaking research and the preparation of ad hoc Board and Committee papers
* Reviewing, updating and creating Board policies
* Assisting the Company Secretary to support the Board
* Liaising with outsourced providers such as auditors, lawyers and consultants
* Being the point of contract with the regulators including AFCA and AUSTRAC
Success in this role will come from your strong understanding of compliance and regulatory environments, excellent written skills and your eye for detail. The ability to communicate complex/technical information in an understandable form is important to your success.
You will be joining a small, dedicated team who are committed to providing excellent service to the members. This role will utilise your experience in Superannuation compliance or policy. A degree in law or finance would be desirable but not essential. If not RG146 certified you will need to obtain this.
A flexible work environment that includes the opportunity to work from home and less than fulltime hours, if desired, together with an attractive salary package circa $130k will attract the calibre of candidate that we seek.
