This is a full-time role where you will lead and support the Demand Planning process by consolidating inputs from Marketing, Customer Development, Manufacturing, and Finance, along with statistical analysis, history, and personal experience, to build a comprehensive Demand Plan for periods of up to 6 months and beyond.
Main Responsibilities
* Ensure adherence to Demand Planning Key Performance Indicators (e.g., forecast accuracy).
* Responsible for analysing sales demand and coordinating inputs from key stakeholders.
* Work closely with Customer Development Teams to validate the Sales Plan, ensuring optimum customer service, distribution, speed to shelf, and promotional fulfilment.
* Lead the Demand Management phase within the monthly Colgate Business Plan Discipline cycle.
* Own the monthly Commercial Gap Identification Meeting, part of the Colgate Business Plan cycle.
* Work with the manufacturing group on supply constraints to the demand plan, ensuring Demand and Supply are synchronised.
* Highlight and communicate issues during promotional event execution and new products.
* Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement to improve accuracy.
* Collaborate with Consumer Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Supply Chain during SKU transition process to minimise scrap cost.
* Hold periodic review of safety stock levels for finished goods with Business Planning, Logistics and Inventory Managers.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Required:
* Bachelor's Degree
* At least 5 years of Planning experience within FMCG
* At least 2 years of Leadership experience
* Strong attention to detail and organisation
* Communication & negotiation skills
* Strong SAP and BI reporting skills
* Experience using supply chain management forecasting/ERP systems (SAP/APO and other tools)
