Lead Myer Cairns with your people management skills, drive and optimise financial performance with your strong retail acumen and identify and implement opportunities that are productive and profitable.
* Full time position at Myer Cairns
* Fixed Contract, this role is a maternity cover for 11 months. There is opportunity for extension after the contract ends at other stores or in a similar role
About the role:
* Be responsible for store strategy implementation, business operations and brand-partner relationships
* Execute store plans and manage daily activities, evaluating and adapting tactics as needed to drive financial performance
* Lead the store to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive store financial performance, with particular focus on optimising productivity of space, merchandise and people
* Actively drive high performance and a customer focused service and selling culture in alignment to Myer values
* Manage and allocate store operational responsibilities and activities in a coordinated and collaborative manner
* Lead, empower, coach and develop your team to build organisational capability
* Encourage adaptation of enhanced processes through effective communication and role modelling
About You:
* Retail management/store leadership experience is essential with demonstrated ability to lead a large retail team and achieve results
* Demonstrated skill in evaluating and adapting operational tactics as needed to drive high performance
* Strong commitment to the delivery of positive customer experiences, focus on optimising productivity of space, merchandise and people
* Computer skills, with the ability to analyse data to highlight opportunities
* Experience in coaching and development to build organisational capability
* A strong mix of both business acumen and people management skills
* Proven ability to drive and exceed results
