We are Australia's leading supplier and manager of Airport luggage storage solutions, specifically, Baggage Storage by Smarte Carte, a retail store which allows travellers to store luggage while they await their flight. We are looking for a Customer Service Representative who can assist customers our Baggage Storage store, located at Sydney Central Station.
Responsibilities
* Provide courteous service in assisting customers.
* Physical ability and manual dexterity needed to lift a minimum of 20kgs to waist height.
* Ability to walk and stand for 10 hours a day.
* Display positive customer service and verbal communication skills.
* Perform customer sales and service transactions.
* Maintain accurate handling and processing of cash, credit cards, EFTPOS and point of sale.
* Promote products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising and other promotional activities.
* Learn and practice secure work procedures, thus assuring safety to self, co-workers, passengers and visitors.
* Maintain positive communication and cooperation with other employees and facility management.
* Attend to the day to day running of the Retail Store when required.
* Perform jobs in an honest, reliable, and professional manner.
* Complete other duties as directed, provided adequate training has been given.
Qualifications
* Be available to work a flexible roster, including early morning, afternoon and night shifts, weekdays and weekends.
* Be versatile for additional hours and changing shift times.
* Be computer literate with experience in programs including Microsoft Office Suites.
* Work well in a team environment.
* Be highly motivated and work well autonomously.
* Secure an Australian Security Identification Card (ASIC Card) to work at Australian Airports.
Pay: $29.00 - $45.00 per hour.
