About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Painter/Brush Hand to join our team at SNP PAINTING AND DECORATING' in Toowoomba, QLD. This full-time position will see you contributing to a wide range of residential and commercial painting projects, utilising your expertise to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
What you'll be doing
1. Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and cleaning
2. Applying high-quality paints, stains, and varnishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
3. Mixing paints to achieve desired colours and finishes
4. Ensuring a clean and tidy work environment throughout each project
5. Collaborating with the team to meet project deadlines and quality standards
6. Maintaining all tools and equipment in good working condition
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience as a Painter or Brush Hand, preferably in the residential or commercial painting industry
2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work
3. Physical stamina and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods
4. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
5. A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
6. A keen eye for colour and a passion for creating beautiful finishes
