As we expand beyond digital into global physical retail, we’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Global Wholesale & Retail Partnerships Manager to lead ATOLEA’s entry into major retailers, boutiques, department stores, and global distribution channels across North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
This is a high-impact, high-ownership role focused on building our retail footprint and the operational backbone that supports it, from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing our global strategy: identifying prospects, securing partners, negotiating deals, building systems, and managing relationships through to in-store success.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop a clear, phased roadmap to grow ATOLEA’s physical retail presence across the U.S., UK/EU, AUS, and Asia-Pacific.
* Conduct market research to identify and prioritize retailers, distributors, and showroom opportunities aligned with our brand.
* Identify and size whitespace by channel (e.g., department stores, jewelry boutiques, concept stores, travel retail).
* Define and own wholesale pricing strategy, including margin tiers, volume-based structures, and regional considerations.
* Develop core sales tools and partner-facing materials, including line sheets, brand decks, product catalogs, and order forms.
* Partner with finance and leadership to model retailer profitability and build scalable commercial terms.
* Build internal workflows for outreach tracking, CRM usage, tagging systems, and partner segmentation.
Prospecting, Pitching & Deal-Making
* Lead the full lifecycle of wholesale and retail partnerships: prospecting, pitching, negotiation, onboarding, and account management.
* Secure product placement in high-potential retail environments — from premium independents to global department stores.
* Negotiate win–win wholesale agreements that balance margin, brand integrity, and commercial success.
Operations & Logistics Coordination
* Work closely with supply chain and fulfillment teams to ensure timely, reliable delivery for all partner orders.
* Build scalable operational processes for reorders, inventory coordination, invoicing, and compliance with retailer packaging, labeling, and merchandising standards.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
* Define KPIs and track sell-in/sell-through performance, broken down by region and partner type.
* Analyze ROI, partner feedback, and market data to refine pricing, assortments, and strategy.
* Identify repeatable growth levers and develop a retail playbook for future scaling.
Key Qualifications & Success Traits
* A Global Operator: You've built retail partnerships across multiple regions, including North America and international markets (EU, AUS, Asia).
* An End-to-End Builder: You’ve launched wholesale or retail programs from scratch and built systems others can scale.
* A Commercial Architect: You understand margin structures, sales cycles, and how to build mutually valuable partner offers.
* A Sales-Driven Strategist: You love the pitch, the close, and the planning that turns market intel into momentum.
* Operationally Excellent: You create structure, documentation, and flows that drive consistent execution.
* A Relationship Closer: You build credibility and trust with buyers, retailers, and distributors at every level.
* Jewelry, fashion, beauty, or lifestyle experience is a plus, but not required if you bring retail fluency and sharp execution.
