Medical Radiation Scientist (Nuclear Medicine Technologist Level 2) - PET & Nuclear Medicine
Concord Repatriation General Hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital serves the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.
To provide quality patient care whilst performing a range of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures as well as PET-CT imaging. This involves the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals, patient imaging, collection and analysis of data, quality control on equipment and recording data in the Departmental Database.

Responsibilities
* Perform a range of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures and PET-CT imaging.
* Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, perform patient imaging, collect and analyze data.
* Conduct quality control on equipment and record data in the Departmental Database.
* Ensure safe and accurate operation of imaging equipment and adherence to radiation safety practices.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary health care teams to provide quality patient care.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
* Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) Nuclear Medicine / Licensed with the EPA or eligible / and registered with AHPRA for national accreditation.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multidisciplinary health care team.
* Ability to ensure own, co-workers’ and patient safety by adopting and following safe work practices.
* Sound knowledge of radiation safety and quality control/improvement.
