Pharmacist Research Assistant PROACTIVE Study
An exciting opportunity exists for a pharmacist research assistant to contribute to practice-based research at a leading hospital. The PROACTIVE study is a prospective clinical trial examining whether active surveillance of penicillin allergy and proactive delabelling by a pharmacist using existing electronic tools leads to improved delabelling of penicillin allergy compared to passive surveillance.
This research position is responsible for carrying out clinical assessments, interventions, and trial activities in the PROACTIVE study.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
The role involves establishing collaborative relationships within the team and interagency networks, undertaking clinical research activities, and/or quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

About the Role:
This research assistant position is based at a major teaching hospital and is responsible for conducting clinical and research activities on site.
Requirements:
* Must hold registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
* Demonstrated skills and knowledge in the use of hospital information systems and the provision of clinical or pharmacy services to consumers, carers, and families in hospital settings.
* Proven ability to work independently and establish effective working relationships within a multi-disciplinary team and interagency networks.
Employment Details:
* Temporary Part-Time until further notice.
* $40.61 - $60.10 per hour.
* 8 hours per week.
