Finance & Administration Officer
We are seeking an experienced Finance and Administration Officer to join our team at the Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, values accuracy and attention to detail.
This role is central to keeping our Club running smoothly behind the scenes. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, payroll and supporting both staff and members.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations and reporting
* Respond to finance and payroll queries from staff and members
* Ensure financial records and documentation are up to date and accurate
* Support the Head of Finance with general tasks
* Assist with occasional administrative duties as needed
About You:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a bookkeeping/accounts support role; experience in clubs or hospitality is highly regarded
* Confident using accounting software such as Micropower, Deputy, Xero etc. Training available if needed
* Detailed oriented and accurate with numbers
* Strong communicator and a team player with a helpful attitude
* Solid knowledge of payroll processing and compliance (experience with Deputy software is advantageous, but training is available)
