An exciting and immediate full time, temp opportunity (approx. 5 months) has arisen for an experienced Accounts/Finance Officer to work with a market leading Utility Services business based in the Southeast of Melbourne. With supportive management, this a great chance to join a high performing and regarded Finance team.
A global market leader, the company provides bespoke services to the Manufacturing and Building/Construction Industry. The company has experienced unprecedented growth due to growing their branch network and diversifying their service offering.
**The Role**
This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of a large global business. You will be predominantly assisting AP but you will need to assist the team in AR with follow up on outstanding debtors, so experience in both AP/AR is paramount. The business is undergoing an ERP implementation and are needing an extra set of hands to also transfer/validate data between systems.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, your primary duties will comprise of:
- Full function AP
- Matching/batching coding invoices to PO's
- Handling Credit queries
- Data entry
- G/L coding
- Follow up outstanding debtors
- Invoice processing (high volume)
- Data validation between new and old ERP systems
- Creating new Accounts
**About You**
- Min 3-5+ years' experience in a similar Accounts Officer position
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly and accurately to deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously
- Good working knowledge of Excel and a large ERP System
