CliniKids is the Kids Research Institute’s first team to integrate world‑class research with a clinical service. CliniKids is a unique integration of early intervention services, innovation, and research for children on the autism spectrum. The Opportunity

We currently have the opportunity for a Client Support Officer to join our growing team! The Client Support Officer will provide high-level client support and management ensuring the clinic focus is customer service orientated. This role will also provide administrative and diary management support to the clinical team composed of multidisciplinary allied health professionals.

Responsibilities

- Welcoming clients and announcing visitors to appropriate staff.
- Handling phone enquiries.
- Managing complex enquiries and direct complaints/feedback.
- Onboarding new clients for effective caseload management.
- Managing electronic calendars, client appointments, client communications and service waitlists.
- Managing client service agreements and NDIS funding.
- Monitoring and reporting on upcoming NDSI requirements, including service agreement renewals and report due dates. Treatment plan management.
- Managing client payments and accounts.
- Document and records management and compliance monitoring.
- Maintaining shared spaces including the kitchenette area, fridge and coffee machine.

This role is a two-year full time contract. The successful candidate needs to be able to work across multiple sites for leave cover; Subiaco and Joondalup, however will be predominantly based at Subiaco.

About You

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar client or customer‑facing role.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional level of customer care, administration, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a broad, multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with and ability to learn new systems, implement systems.
- Skilled in electronic database management and Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel.
- Diary / appointment management on behalf of business professionals and/or allied health professionals.
- Experience taking or managing payments.
- Experience with NDIS funding and other funding sources such as Medicare.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities and manage large and varied workloads, while maintaining motivation under pressure.
- Demonstrate flexibility to pause and resume tasks as needed in a busy clinic environment, maintaining focus and accuracy despite frequent interruptions.
- Experience working with children and/or their family members, or in a similar client‑facing role.

The successful candidate will be asked to provide a Working with Children’s Check and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance prior to commencement.
