Hornsby Child and Youth Mental Health Service are a team of like-minded people who are passionate, driven and have the skills and knowledge to care for young people with mental health and their families. As a key role in this team the Administration Officer manages the provision of accurate, timely and efficient high level administrative and customer support to the department to support the achievement of the services goals. You will be working autonomously as well as with the team.

What you'll be doing
The Administration Officer will provide comprehensive and efficient administrative and customer support to the Hornsby Community Child and Youth Mental Health Service to support the achievement of the department's clinical and operational goals.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
* Highly developed interpersonal skills; and demonstrated ability to communicate, consult and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Highly professional phone manner and ability to be able to appropriately respond to callers who may be experiencing high levels of distress or anxiety.
* Well-developed computer skills including demonstrated ability and proven track-record in in data entry and maintaining of databases. Demonstrated efficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience or willingness to learn new information systems including: Cerner/eMR, Winc., Oracle, Health Roster, ROB.
* Demonstrated high level written communication skills with the capacity to produce reports and prepare technical documents with accuracy and clarity.
* Demonstrated commitment to providing a high quality, professional and consumer focused service.
