HR Driver - Labourer
This is a hands-on role where you will be an integral part of the team in the operation of the warehouse & logistic functions of the business.
Using your experience, you will load all required goods, ensuring that the goods loaded are correct, deliver and offload (with some manual offloading) customer sales orders on time and in full.
Ensuring adherence to road rules/company policies/procedures, and safe work procedures will form an important part of your role.
Overtime is available as needed.
This is a diverse position where no two days are the same. You’ll be driving a variety of new and fully maintained vehicles - including Heavy & Medium Rigid, Light truck and Utes.
The Role:
* Reporting to the Warehouse / Logistics Team Leader.
* Ensure loads for dispatch are safely secured and loaded appropriately.
* Ensure goods for dispatch are correct to dispatch dockets
* Maintain accurate records of routes, deliveries, and vehicle inspections.
* Check products for damage &/or discrepancies against relevant paperwork
* Assisting in the warehouse duties as required to pick, pack & prepare sales orders efficiently & accurately, via the use of Tablets, Supplier pick up and delivers
* Undertaking site clean-ups and returning products for restocking or recycling
* Assisting with warehouse loading and unloading of transports in a timely and safe manner
Qualifications & Experience:
* Current HR Truck Licence
* Current Forklift Licence
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse - transport operations role within the construction/steel industry. Desirable, although not essential
* Strong Numeracy & Literacy Skills
