About the Supply Chain Surety Branch
Supply Chain Surety is a branch in Corporate Services Division (CSD) supporting the supply of clinical goods, pharmaceuticals and linen products to the Hospital and Health Services (HHS), Queensland Health.
The branch is comprised of functions critical to Queensland Health's supply response, including Supply Chain Services, Central Pharmacy, Group Linen Services and Operations. This branch brings together an end-to-end supply chain management function from demand planning through to warehousing and distribution into a single integrated branch led by the Executive Director.
The Branch also works closely with the Procurement and Supply Optimisation Program - a Queensland Government initiative to secure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supply for Queenslanders.
**What we are looking for**:
- Demonstrated project management and change management skills including a proven track record on being accountable to deliver projects on time and on budget
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills to enable the effective building and management of strong client relationships
- A high standard of oral and written communication skills as demonstrated by successfully writing briefs, reports and positively influencing senior executives and stakeholders
- Experience and knowledge of S/4HANA, particularly the functions related to purchasing and supply
- Flexibility to work and travel between Queensland Health sites at short notice. This position will be based in Brisbane but may involve travel to regional sites as required
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, utilise discretion, meet deadlines, establish priorities and work as an effective member of a team
**Mandatory qualifications and other requirements**:
Whilst not mandatory, relevant tertiary qualifications in business management or equivalent skilled experience would be highly regarded
This position will be based in Brisbane, but may involve travel to regional sites as required
