Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with disabilities to live more independent and inclusive lives.
In this rewarding role, you will provide personalized support to clients in a group home setting, including assisting with daily living tasks, mealtime support, administering medication, and manual handling. You will also support clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent, as well as supporting them to engage and participate in their community.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* National Police Check and Working With Children Check
* Nurse Diversional Therapist qualification or relevant experience
* Familiarity with assistive technology and equipment
