BenefitsCompetitive salary and stable employment.Opportunity to work with a supportive and skilled team.Career progression opportunities.Company: ZamZam Village Grocer Pty LtdTask & ResponsibilitiesExamine and select meat cuts to ensure top-quality, freshness, and suitable textureCut, carve, portion, and shape meat according to customer instructions and preferencesOperate meat-processing equipment including grinders, mixers, slicers, and tenderisersWrap, label, and prepare meat products for sale or distribution, ensuring correct weights and presentationUphold sanitation and hygiene standards across food preparation surfaces, tools, and storage areasOrganize and maintain attractive displays of meat products in chillers and countersAssist customers by offering expert advice on meat selection and usagePrepare and manufacture smallgoods such as sausages, hams, and cured products in compliance with safety protocols (excluding outsourced processes)Support culinary planning efforts and occasionally collaborate on menu creation and pricing analysisEnsure compliance with HACCP, Work Health & Safety (WH&S), and Quality Assurance guidelinesQualifications & ExperienceCertificate III in Meat Processing.1 to 2 years of work experience in butchery or smallgoods production.Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and HACCP procedures.Ability to operate butchery equipment and machinery.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.About the CompanyZamZam Village Grocer is a vibrant retail grocery and butcher store proudly serving the multicultural community of Auburn and surrounding suburbs.
