What's the role?
We have a lifestyle change position within News Corp Australia, specifically at the Townsville Bulletin. We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join our Reliability Team at our Townsville print production facility. This modern facility has recently been expanded with a $50 million upgrade, including the installation of Queensland's largest colour capacity press.
You will work in a progressive environment that offers a supportive culture and opportunities to expand your skills, including industry-specific training such as vibration analysis and pneumatic systems. You will be part of a team comprising highly skilled professionals including Fitters, Electricians, Printers, Publishers, and Production personnel.
Who are you?
* A strong safety focus
* Well-developed communication skills
* Exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Trade Certificate in Fitting & Turning
* Experience in manufacturing processes (advantageous)
* Computer skills
