Overview
Due to exciting growth, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our Mining – Drill & Blast team at one of goldfields, WA operations. This will be on going, long-term project work. Full-time position on a FIFO from Perth. Roster is 2:2 (weeks).
The Role
We are seeking a proactive individual to work closely with the Operations Manager and with site personnel to ensure the project is run in a manner that meets the client’s expectation and SRG’s high standard of project delivery. The individual will provide leadership to site personnel and will ensure that work is completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe and economic site execution of the project reporting to the Operations Manager.
- Liaise with client representatives on daily activities and inform the client of activities which may impact on mining operations.
- Provide key leadership, management and direction to support new and existing site employees.
The successful applicant will have
- Considerable mining experience in Drilling and Blasting
- Dangerous Goods Security Card
- S26 - Statutory Supervisor
- Computer literacy is essential
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor personnel and manage client relationships
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
- Cert IV or Diploma in management
- ICAM training
- Cert IV TAE
