We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Coordinator to play a pivotal role in supporting our ambition to strengthen Queensland's building and construction industry.
About the Role
As a Facilities Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and undertaking the delivery of high-quality maintenance activities, including inspections/surveys of building elements and construction materials. You will also provide supervisory services in respect to the delivery of construction maintenance and upgrade work undertaken by our team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Preparation of Tender Documents
2. Assisting in the planning and delivery of projects through the efficient supervision and development of office staff, field staff, and subcontractors.
3. Coordination and undertaking of condition assessment services for our clients, including inspections/surveys of building elements and construction materials.
4. Undertaking inspection services, including tenancy management services and maintenance referrals on behalf of Government Employee Housing.
5. Participating in and facilitating WHS audits under the direction of the Regional WHS Adviser.
6. Ensuring all job documentation includes safe work method statements or other risk assessment documentation as appropriate.
Additional Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Current Workplace Health and Safety General Safety Induction Card. A construction industry-related trade qualification would be considered favourably.
